We all know Apple to be the top, if not, one of the top contenders in the laptop world, but it is far from the only company out there. Dell has had its fair share of laptops, as well, that have made names for themselves, most notably the Inspiron Notebook. This laptop is now known for being a budget, or entry-level laptop within the Dell brand, but that hasn’t stopped it from being a very well rounded computer. But as is the issue with almost every type of mobile tech out there, whether it be cell phones, tablets, or even laptops, battery is always an issue. Dell is boasting that its new Inspiron laptop will not be having such an issue.
So with the battery usually always being an issue after a period of time with most devices, how exactly is Dell fixing this issue with their new line of Inspiron laptops? Their answer to the problem is not an overcharged battery, but the inclusion of new Haswell processors that will help extend battery life by doing away with the need for integrated and dedicated graphics chips. The chip is designed to take the strain off of the graphics cards and help video playback so that the battery to push its power more efficiently that struggling to keep video and graphics running smoothly.
Depending on the model type you were to purchase, the battery life can now last up to roughly 9 hours before needing a charge. This increased battery life along with a thinner display and overall resemblance to the MacBook Pro could bring the new Inspiron line back into the laptop race. Dell has been a well known company for years and it looks as if they are taking the necessary steps to make sure that they remain that way. Longer battery life and better performance equals happier customers, and Dell is no stranger to that concept.
