One of the leading speaker manufacturers in the world, Klipsch, has just announced that it is working with mobile gaming monster Alienware to give mobile gamers a premium audio experience with Alienware’s first 3D-capable gaming laptop.
The new device? The Alienware M17x, which is the first gaming laptop from Alienware to feature audio powered by Klipsch in order to give mobile gamers sound quality above and beyond anything they have experienced in a laptop before. While Alienware is a big name in the PC gaming market, Klipsch is no stranger to the market either and they understand that intense gameplay and riveting stories need great audio.
Klipsch’s acclaimed THX-certified ProMedia 2.1 have been popular speakers in the gaming community for over 10 years now and the company’s experience in delivering high-powered sound in a small package for gamers has made the company a great partner for Alienware and their new M17x.
According to Chris Aiello, Product Manager for Personal Audio at Klipsch, “We are honored to have the opportunity to team up with Alienware and can’t wait to experience the excitement inĀ theĀ marketplace surrounding the release of this new laptop series.”
Aiello added, “By fusing 3D technology with unmatched, built-in, Klipsch-refined laptop sound performance, Alienware is truly defining an entirely new product category. We’re thrilled to play a role in it.”
The M17x is the first ever Alienware laptop to feature full 3D-capabilities. The laptop, which features a 17-inch display, comes with the second generation Sandy Bridge quad-core Intel Core i7 processor. The device also has HDMI-in support for Xbox 360 ands PlayStation 3 connectivity and can also be configured with an optional 120Hz stereoscopic FullHD panel. The M17x also has full support for up to 100W of graphics horsepower and features the Alienware Command Center to allow access to AlienFX lighting controls.
The new 3D-enabled Alienware M17x gaming laptop with Klipsch audio will be available this month for a base price of $1,499.

Thanks for your write-up. I also think laptop computers are getting to be more and more popular right now, and now are usually the only sort of computer found in a household. This is because at the same time they are becoming more and more economical, their working power is growing to the point where they’re as highly effective as desktop out of just a few in years past.
