If you are interested in upgrading to Windows 8 but you are worried about paying too much money, then an offer is on the table from Microsoft that you aren’t going to want to pass up. For a limited time, Microsoft will be offering upgrades to Windows 8 Pro for a single, flat $40 fee as long as you are upgrading from Windows XP or later. Windows 7 will drain your netbook battery faster than XP

When Microsoft released Windows 7, one of their big selling points was the extra battery life it provided over Vista. The guys at LaptopMag.com found that it was indeed true, but only on full-sized notebooks. When it came to netbooks, it was a completely different story.
