I feel that it’s safe to say that we get way too caught up in the excitement of next generation technology. We tend to see that it is the new model and immediately go crazy for it. Normally this isn’t that big of a deal, but what happens when you have new tech that performs a lot like the last generation model you have at your house? This type of issue doesn’t normally arise for big name tech companies, as they are usually on top of their game. As fate would have it however, our friends over at Apple may need to check on theirRead More →

When I think of a “Toshiba Satellite”, I think of a piece of trash or a play toy that I would give to a 5- year old to keep them entertained for a bit. Most of the Satellite models are like the one you’ll find on sale for $100, buy it thinking you’re getting a steal, and then return it because you are so frustrated and can’t get it to run anything that you need. Honestly, I didn’t even realize there were high end Satellite models until now. The new Toshiba Satellite P50t actually has a 4K display. 4K resolution is really taking over rightRead More →

Toshiba has released its ultra-high-res laptop the KIRAbook. The Toshiba KIRAbook is for the most part a decent ultrabook. There is no other screen like it in the Windows 8 market. It is thin and light, weighing just  3 pounds.  Toshiba claims the magnesium alloy casing is 90% stronger than the aluminum case of the Macbook Air.  The screen contains 3.7 million pixels. Unfortunately the KIRAbook has a smaller keyboard, and the track pad is less responsive than the Macbook Air. It appears Toshiba is attempting to outdo the Macbook air, but there is a lot to be left wanting. Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-3537U Processor,Read More →

Toshiba recently announced that it will soon begin mass production of a new line of hybrid disk drives that will come with flash memory. The company is marketing them as a low-cost replacement for the solid-state drives typically found in Ultrabook and newer laptop computers. When it comes to any computer of laptops, memory is key. This is why most of the companies insist on people maintaining the drives by deleting the unwanted files, programmes and folders. In case any data is lost due to any problem, the lost data can also be recovered from the drives provided it is being given to professionals fromRead More →
