HP has recently released a laptop which may be one of the most impressive laptops on the market. Coming in at a meager 2.45 lbs., the HP Spectre is not the lightest laptop available, but it is the thinnest at 0.41” thick. The design of the laptop itself is also impressive. The laptop’s screen is not connected to the back edge like traditional laptops, instead the Spectre’s screen is connected to the base by two gold hinges on either side of the laptop’s base. The sleek look of the Spectre combined with its black and gold color design makes the Spectre something to behold. TheRead More →

I don’t really have a need for anything touchscreen, aside from my smartphone. To some, it might be all about application and what you need to do. To others, it could be about what looks the best and what is, in fact, more mobile. No one ever thought that somethingRead More →

There are so many different names associated with laptops these days, in fact the word laptop is more of a catch-all word that describes just about every mobile computer, whether its a netbook or a mini laptop. This has created a lot of confusion about the difference between the different classifications of laptops. For instance, what is the difference between a mini laptop and an ultraportable? Essentially there is no difference, often times the two are interchangable. However, for the sake of making a distinctions, I would argue that the size, application and computing power associated with each is the difference. Note that some differencesRead More →
