HP has recently released a laptop which may be one of the most impressive laptops on the market. Coming in at a meager 2.45 lbs., the HP Spectre is not the lightest laptop available, but it is the thinnest at 0.41” thick. The design of the laptop itself is also impressive. HP Recalls Thousands of Laptops

Hewlett Packard has announced that it’s recalling 54,000 laptop batteries. The lithium-ion batteries could possibly overheat and catch on fire. The batteries, which were made in China, came with laptops purchased both in stores and online from August 2007 to July 2008. Many were also sold independently. Many Laptops Fail Within 3 Years

According to a new study by Squaretrade, about one third (31%) of all laptops will fail within three years of being purchased. This includes both malfunctions and accidents, but malfunctions alone make up 20% of laptop failures.
