It’s rare in laptops to have processors running at this frequency, other than in gaming laptops. Having higher clock speeds help boost PC performance. That’s why gamers normally overclock CPUs to run faster. Intel and Advanced Micro Devices are always trying to beat each other with the best performance by increasing their desktop CPU clock speeds. What do you really sacrifice when you pick a laptop over a desktop? Are you really sacrificing anything now that laptops are more advanced than ever? It used to be that when you were deciding between the two, you had to pick between power and mobility. For me I would always go with a desktop as I can contact Computer Repairs Ipswich anytime I want to repair it and also upgrade it as per my wish and will. With as far as we have come with advancing our technologies and improving upon them, the line between the two is becoming more and more blurred. ChoosingRead More →

The Alienware 14 laptop might be the best portable gaming laptop out there, but don’t think that gaming is all that it does. This thing is just an absolute beast of a machine in a tiny package. The computer itself might be little, but with all of the power it’s packing, you could put it up against anything and still be proud of it. Right out of the box, you’re working with an overclocked quad-core i7 chip with Nvidia GeForce GTX graphics. There is also a much more affordable version which features a Core i5-4200M dual-core with 8GB of RAM, 750GB hard drive, and NvidiaRead More →
