Acer was quite active at the IFA 2012 trade event in Berlin recently, unveiling a brand new tablet and tablet hybrid as well as two new versions of laptops. The laptops will come supporting Windows 8 and are your typical devices containing large, sunken chiclet keyboards with numeric keypads and instant-on characteristics that you typically find in smartphones or tablets. On Wednesday, June 20 Acer announced their latest series of ultrabooks, the Aspire Timeline Ultra M5 Series. Acer has updated their original Timeline Series by making their newest additions slimmer and lightweight. When it comes to laptops, NajmTek probably isn’t a name you would think of and it is probably a name you’ve never even heard. That’s because NajmTek is relatively new to the industry. This week, Acer announced its new Aspire Ethos laptops. The laptops have a secondary touchscreen, which doubles as a touchpad. The new technology is meant to help users navigate through multimedia content.
